There is a lot written on tourism. Most texts are stressing the extraordinary tourists are experiencing. There is also a tendency to distinguish between the home and the holiday, the exceptional and the ordinary or the everyday.
But do I really have to be on a holiday to live the exceptional of the tourist's experience. I do not think so, because I feel like a tourist everyday: on my way to work, at work, in the supermarket, on the way back home and of course at home. My home is my hotel, providing me with five-star menus, great company, a nice spa-area, great entertainment etc.
So this blog is supposed to be a tourist's journal of my everyday holidays.
